The main body simulates a hard cover book and is made of Baltic birch plywood with an image of the hand block printed Sleepy Fox logo engraved and painted on the front. The neck is made of red oak with a black walnut layer laminated under the fretboard. The peghead has a black walnut overlay. Fox images are engraved on the fretboard. as position markers. The frets are accurately placed, pressed/ glued in, leveled, shaped and polished for easy, comfortable play. This guitar features sealed guitar tuners and a black walnut banjo style bridge with an inlaid fret for improved note clarity. Even though it can be played through an amp, it is loud enough acoustically to have a great time without one!
